Dr. Rose and staff provide vision therapy to improve the following vision problems:

   Learning related vision problems of children:

  • losing place while reading
  • short attention span
  • reversal of letters
  • school grades not up to potential
  • unable to do homework in a normal amount of time
  • gets tired quickly when reading or doing homework
  • smart in everything but school

Visual motor skills and endurance are developed through the use of specialized computer and optical devices, including therapeutic lenses, prisms and filters. During the final stages of therapy, the patient's newly acquired visual skills are reinforced and made automatic through repetition and by integration with motor and cognitive skills.

Vision therapy is best done by a Developmental Optometrist.
